Juliani Educational Program

The Program

Chicago offers a rich array of musical opportunities for its residents. The Juliani Ensemble is dedicated to ensuring equitable access to these resources for all community members. Music education and instrumental training, while essential components of a well-rounded education, often come with significant financial or locational barriers. Our program sets out to address the needs of our community by providing opportunities for students to expand their music skill and knowledge with extremely high quality artists and instructors.
Our program operates in alignment with the traditional school year calendar, commencing in September and concluding in May. In partnership with the Chicago Human Rhythm Project (CHRP), activities are hosted at their Mayfair Arts Center in the South Shore neighborhood. We offer instruction in violin, cello, piano, and guitar, catering to beginners of all ages, including adults, and can also accommodate more advanced individuals. Students can choose between 30 min, 45 min, or 1 hr lessons. With the students' advancement, we schedule annual concerts and recitals so that they can showcase their progress.
